Eartha’s Sea Turtle Adventures is a story blog for children. Based on the children’s book, The Tale of Eartha the Sea Turtle, this story blog will chronicle Eartha’s continuing journey.
The blog is kid-friendly and is designed as a way for children to learn about the ocean, its creatures and the dangers that it holds for marine life. It’s a way for children to become more aware of their surroundings and all the animals that live with us.
The blog is written from the perspective of the author, Dan Bodenstein. For the children, it is explained that Eartha speaks to seagulls, who relay the latest story via other seagulls, and then to a talking parrot that relays it to Dan.
Children are also urged to “Ask Eartha” questions. The questions can be basic like, “Where are you now?” or more complex like, “How long do sea turtles live?”
